Time to GO

Hello fellow bloggers!

You're probably wondering... what the heck am I doing? well, I'm getting ready for one heck of a performance. I love when guard parents or friends capture moments like these. This picture says it all. I'm folding the flag and making sure it's ready for when the time comes and I have to pick it up and perform. The thoughts in my head are simple... "I can do this." I say this over and over and think about my show, mentally performing in my head and having the most perfect performance. The start of the show involves the team getting set. I put my flag where it needs to go, and then I walk on to the other side of the tarp and set my rifle. Looking into the crowd makes me nervous, anxious, but most of all, excited, and blessed to be part of such a talented group of performers. As I fold my show fold my flag, I remember how talented the group of performers are, and how I am one of them. I was chosen to spin and perform with such wonderful individuals. And in that moment, I am ready to give it my all.
