My first show.

Hello fellow bloggers!

Let's take a trip back to my first performance with this activity. I was in the eighth grade and I was new to the team, not knowing anyone but my older sister who was the one who convinced me to do this. I was scared, nervous, and confused as to where I had to stand and how to act in front of all the "big kids". We walked into the stadium, set up our rows with the marching band, and the game began. We usually leave the stands to warm up around second quarter, and we perform at half-time. "5, and 6, and 5, 6, 7, 8." those numbers, in that order is all I can remember from most games. We lined up, got set and there it was... Lights, people, and loud cheers in the distance. It was all incredible and I don't know how else to describe it in words. It was an amazing feeling and thanks to my sister, forcing me into trying out, I can't ever rethink doing this activity all through out high school. My favorite part of it all, are the butterflies that fill my insides, making me feel an amazing kind of nervous.... but a feeling that one enjoys feeling overtime.

Until next time!
